Hello Everyone!!! This is my very first post & I'm so excited to finally get into this... I delved into the lovely world of Nail Lacquer late Fall of '11. To be honest, I was never very confident in my nail painting abilities & TERRIFIED of color. Well no longer! In 6 months my nail polish collection has grown to a total of 78 and I'm painting them at least 2 times a week! I've come a long way baby!! I think I'm missing some though. My last count was in the 90's & has somehow diminished - I need to get to the bottom of this mystery. Anywho, as mentioned earlier I was terrified of color as I was a strict "nude" girl. So what better way to start off my blog with a very bright, cheerful, in your face color courtesy of Zoya's Pippa.
(This picture was taken on my iPhone - I will start taking pics with my camera very soon). As I've been not so subtly alluding to Pippa is like a true ray of sunshine. It's a very bright, creamy polish. Not at all pastel. It was opaque in 2 coats, but I had to do 3 to even out the streaks a bit. The polish was great, not too thick, not too thin, I was just a little heavy handed - but it all worked out in the end. I used Seche Vite Base Coat, 3 coats Zoya & Seche Vite Top Coat. This pic was taken in direct sunlight. The color is loud & playful, perfect for a sunny Spring or Summer Day. I purchased this directly through Zoya's website & they retail for $8.00. This color was part of their Summer 2009 La-Di-Da Collection. Thanks for reading...
